REVIEW: L'oreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner 9/10!

Hello Everyone! Hope everything is going well! If you may have remembered from my post prior to this one, I was freaking out over my Ortho test. Well.. I got my test back and got a 95%! I'm so happy! But the two that I should have known was the deltoid tuberosity and the linea aspera which I got mixed up! I have no idea how I mixed up the two because one is on the humerus and the other is on the femur.. oh well! At least I got an A! ^-^ Anyway, onto the review..

I went to CVS over the weekend and was planning on getting a black pencil eyeliner because I don't have one. I planned on trying the Milani liquid eye pencil because I heard a lot of positive feedback from that product but when CVS was doing a spend $15 get $5 CVS bucks I grabbed this eyeliner as one of the products which ended up being cheaper after I used my $2 off coupon for L'oreal eye products! woop! woop! ha Anyway, I tried this out and absolutely love this eye pencil! I may try and Milani eyeliner and do a side by side comparison of the two one day! Until then, here's a review on the L'oreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner
^-^

Pros:
-Applies smoothly
-Easy to apply
-Easily accessible at a drug store
-Great staying power

Cons:
-Pencil which means it will have to be sharpened
-Not as easy to take off as a liquid eyeliner would be so I actually have to use an eye makeup remover haha

When I applied the product I was pleasantly surprised by how soft the pencil is. Unlike most eyeliner pencils, the product is really soft. Similar to the Stila Kajal Eyeliners. However, unlike the Stila Kajal Eyeliners, this eye pencil has a great staying power! Which is comparable to liquid or gel eyeliners! I definitely believe that this product stays true to the "liquid pencil" factor. So here's the picture of what my eyeliner looked like in the beginning of the day and how my eyes looked like at the end of the day. Enjoy!

When I applied the eyeliner early in the morning:

My eyes by the end of the day:

So as you can see.. by the end of the day my eyeliner faded at my waterline but stayed on near the upper lash line perfectly! So I've got to give this product a 9/10! I'm taking away a half of a point for being a pencil which means I'd have to sharpen in which I really am not a fan of sharpening pencils. Also, when it's time for me to wash my face I have to use makeup remover to take off this eyeliner. Usually, I just cleanse my face with my cleanser and it takes off all of my makeup but since the staying power on this product holds up well, I have to take the extra step. If you already use eye makeup remover then it's probably not going to be a problem. But that's just my person opinion.

I hope you guys enjoyed the review! Let me know what your favorite eye liner is!

Finally!

Hey everyone! This past week has been so intense! I had a huge lecture test in my A&P class on Wednesday and just finished my project for Nutrition a day early! So nice to have a huge weight lifted off my shoulders! Unfortunately, I have an Ortho test on Monday I have to study for! Ugh I'm really concerned about this test because the only way I've been able to study is with the videos that I've recorded on my phone. The way the test is set up is that bones will be laid out and we'll have to identify the different parts based on where the marks on the bones are. However, I'm sure seeing the videos I've recorded during the lecture and actually having the bones in front of me will be completely different. I tried to study on Thursday in the lab and I think that helped a little bit. However I'm still really nervous about this :/ Wish me luck I guess! Hope everyone else is doing well in school so far! Can't wait for Thanksgiving Break already!!

Lucky 7 for September!

So anytime I have done a monthly favorite I was unsatisfied by the inconsistent number of favorites each month so I've decided for my monthly favorites I'll chose my seven favorites of that month whether that be beauty, fashion, etc. So here are my favorites from September! Enjoy!

I'm using all of the September favorites in this picture!

 1. The One by One mascara by Maybelline
I actually wasn't expecting to like this mascara. In fact, the only reason I tried out this mascara was because I needed to use my reward points from Ulta and this was one of the items that were free. I'm really happy I picked this up. I picked up the non-waterproof mascara. I never get waterproof because for some reason my lashes always fall straight. That's besides, the point.. anyway. I really really like this mascara!

 2. HI-BRIGHT with Haloxyl
This is probably one of the best eye creams I've tried thus far. I don't need a lot or product and it doesn't interfere with the eyeshadow base as some of my eye creams have. Love this product!

 3. Clinique Even Better foundation in 05 Neutral
Now that the whether is changing up I'm starting to use liquid foundation. I have been using the Clinique Even Better foundation for about two years and for good reason. Over time, this foundation evens out the skin tone. But also, (for my skin anyway) this product lasts all day.

 4. Daily Oil Control by Proactiv
I apply this product to the "T-zone" area of my face and this has helped to control the oiliness that comes with using a liquid foundation. Also, when I'm stressing out with school or anything in life for that matter I apply this and have noticed that I haven't been breaking out as much as I used to during stressful times! Whether it's this product or not, I still love this.

 5. Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Oats
I know what you're thinking. Why is oatmeal on your monthly favorites? Well lately I've been using oatmeal a couple times a week to wash my face it's easy, just take a little handful of oatmeal and close your fist slightly while letting runner run through your hand. Then, squeeze your fist and the oats will be soft. I'll probably make a separate post about this product. Anyway, yup oatmeal is good for your face too!

 6. Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Topaz
So lately, I haven't had a lot of sleep due to school, and work, and school and work and again and again and again. haha. Luckily when I put this eyeliner in my waterline my eyes instantly look brighter and I appear to be more awake! This is definitely a lifesaver for days that I want to look well rested when I really on had 4 hours of sleep!

 7. NYX Eyeshadow Base
So if you may have seen in my past posts, I used to use the Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance and recently ran out. I was going to pick up another one but decided that I really didn't want to dish out that much money right now and opted out and instead I purchased this and I'm actually surprisingly happy with this product! It's half the price of the Too Faced and I actually love that the base is white because it helps to make shadows stand out better and my brow bone looks lovely with this! hehe this is probably my favorite product this month!

So those were the lucky seven products this month! Hope you guys enjoyed! What were your favorites for this month

Daytime Smokey Eyes!

The weather is finally changing and I love it! I can't wait until I can pull out my sweaters and scarves out for the next couple months! Not only does the weather change, but my make up routine is altered as well! Hope you enjoy this smokey eye that is perfect for the day time! ^-^

I applied the ELF cream eyeliner to act as a darker base so that the black eyeshadow sticks well. Only apply a little and not above the crease.
Blend with a light brown eyeshadow
With a smokey eye, concealing the under eye area is key. I applied the elf concealer and highlighter duo.

Hope you guys enjoyed the smokey eye ^-^Apriljoy
